Data, Algorithms, Assumptions and Frameworks

The Data, Algorithms, Assumptions and Frameworks for Nike MSI are divided into three tiers, with each progressive tier containing a greater level of detail.

Results of Quantitative scoring, with sufficient detail to provide a working understanding of the scoring framework. Includes the rank ordering of more than 50 materials and high-level summary impacts of Chemistry, Energy and GHG Intensity, Water and Land Use Intensity, and Physical Waste.

Comprehensive Quantitative results for each material, presented in a single table with detailed explanations of supply chain assumptions, summary impact values and detailed scoring. Tier 2 provides the materials and life cycle practitioner with sufficient information to understand the Nike MSI.

Includes Nike MSI source data, algorithms and assumptions, and is the information source for Tiers 1 and 2. Tier 3 provides transparency into Nike MSI and is where to add new materials, provide better data and develop alternative supply chain scenarios.
